BurrellesLuce And Public Relations Society Of America Join Forces In Partnership Alliance

Alliance Expands and Compliments PRSA’s Corporate Sponsorship Program

LIVINGSTON, NJ (October 22, 2004) — As part of an ongoing effort to support the advancement and education of public relations professionals throughout North America, BurrellesLuce today announced a formal Partnership Alliance with the Public Relations Society of America, the world’s largest organization for public relations professionals.

As part of the alliance, BurrellesLuce will sponsor and co-host several of PRSA’s major events and conferences throughout the year, including the opening night reception at Lincoln Center in New York City for this year’s International Conference and the Silver Anvil Award Ceremony in 2005. BurrellesLuce also will underwrite several of PRSA’s services, including the organization’s Professional Development Center.

Additionally, through the lending of research and other expertise, this key strategic alliance will improve PRSA’s efforts in research, tracking and identifying potential new members in all areas of the Society’s programs and services.

“PRSA offers numerous member benefits through education and career development programs. By working together, we hope to further enhance and expand these programs in a way that builds value for the public relations industry,” noted Robert C. Waggoner, Chairman and CEO of BurrellesLuce.

PRSA’s Chief Marketing Officer, John D. Robinson said “The joining of PRSA and BurrellesLuce in a partnership alliance greatly compliments our corporate partnership program. Being able to call upon the resources and capabilities of a key industry provider, such as BurrellesLuce, will bring great strength to our team.”
